HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley Receives Grant from Ulster Savings Charitable Foundation
Kingston, NY – Jul. 7, 2010 – HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley was recently awarded a $20,000 grant from the Ulster Savings Charitable Foundation. The grant supports capital equipment projects at Benedictine and Kingston Hospitals.
The Ulster Savings Charitable Foundation was created by the Trustees of Ulster Savings Bank in 2003 as a means to provide support to local not-for-profit organizations in the areas of Education, Housing, and Health & Human Services. By continually endowing the Foundation, Ulster Savings Bank will insure that its community giving will go on in perpetuity. In addition to its flagship grant funding program, the Foundation offers scholarships to deserving local college students and a teacher grant program to assist Ulster County school teachers with projects and curriculum-based activities that will enhance the learning experiences for their students.
“We are very thankful to Ulster Savings for their support and generosity, and for partnering with HealthAlliance to improve the quality of healthcare for our community,” said David Lundquist, CEO HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley.
