The new Fern Feldman Anolick Center for Breast Health provides comprehensive breast imaging including screening and diagnostic mammography and ultrasonography. Procedures such as minimally invasive biopsies are performed under ultrasound and stereotactic guidance. Skilled nurses, technologists and support staff in breast health from the previous Feldman and Greenspan Breast Centers will continue to coordinate and provide premier breast health services. A Breast Patient Navigation Program is available to help guide patients through their treatment options and answer questions. The Center is part of the comprehensive breast care program located at Benedictine Hospital that offers radiation oncology, medical oncology, surgical procedures, support services and pastoral care. These services are led by board-certified breast surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists and skilled support staff.
Boutique: A specialty boutique is now open on the Benedictine Hospital campus Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Pre- and Post-surgical products related to breast cancer are available including wigs, hats and scarves for those undergoing chemotherapy and/or radiation. The Department of Radiation Oncology located at Ulster Radiation Oncology Center located at Thomas A. Dee Cancer Center, offers both external beam radiation (using three dimensional treatment planning and IMRT) as well as high dose rate brachytherapy for the treatment of breast cancer. Our regular hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m.

The Department of Oncology Support The Oncology Support Program consists of a team of compassionate professionals and volunteers dedicated to changing how people perceive and respond to cancer through creative programming, education, and comprehensive support services. Located in the nurturing environment of the Herbert H. and Sofia P. Reuner Cancer Support House located at 80 Mary’s Avenue in Kingston. The Oncology Support Program provides short term counseling; case management advocacy services; support groups, exercise/wellness classes; healing arts workshops; and programs in prevention and integrative medicine. Breast Ultrasonography and Ultrasound Breast Core Biopsies are performed by skilled sonographers who are RDMS registered and read by board-certified radiologists in Imaging Services. We offer this service from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Appointments can be made by calling (845) 334-HAHV (4248). We handle immediate cases on an individual basis.
The Breast Patient Navigation Program ensures seamless and coordinated care among the physicians, diagnostic tests, and the cancer treatments, while offering education, support, and guidance to help patients and families cope with their challenges. HealthAlliance Clinical Nutrition Services provides nutrition counseling which is available by calling the scheduling department at (845) 334-HAHV (4248). The Department of Pathology is comprised of 3 pathologists that are board certified by the American Board of Pathology. The routine business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, but a pathologist is always available on-call. Please contact them at (845) 334-4929.
Pastoral Care Department provides that part of total care which aims at meeting the spiritual and emotional needs of the patient, precisely as they relate to the patient’s medical condition.
