The Diabetes Education Center has been recognized by the American Diabetes Association for meeting its high educational standards and for offering quality self-management diabetes education.
We Provide Education and Training to children and adults with Type 1, Type 2, Gestational or Pre-Diabetes.
At the Diabetes Education Center, we’re committed to providing you with the skills and knowledge that are necessary to manage your diabetes from day to day so you can live a healthy life free from complications.
Support Group
Free To The Public
The Support Group is held every third Wednesday of the month from 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Come and connect with people in your community that understand what you face having been diagnosed with Diabetes. Enjoy healthy refreshments, helpful information, the expertise of guest speakers and simply… Enjoy The Company!
Insurance/Finance
It is important that you know your insurance coverage for outpatient Diabetes Education prior to your appointment. You can call the Member Services number located on the back of your health insurance card for information. Some insurance companies may require a referral, prior authorization or just a script for Diabetes Education. These will need to be obtained from your referring physician PRIOR to your appointment.
Please be aware that you are responsible for any co-pays and deductibles that apply at the time of your visit unless prior arrangements have been made through our billing office. Being prepared will help ensure that you will not be responsible for any excessive costs.
