Infusion Center
HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley provides inpatient and outpatient infusion treatment to individuals who require intravenous medication treatments, injectable drug therapy, or blood transfusions.
Our compassionate, knowledgeable and experienced registered nurses have special training to insert intravenous (IV) needles and PICC lines, perform intramuscular and subcutaneous infusion therapy injections, or implant venous access devices – quickly, with as little pain as possible.
In addition, the HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley Medical Oncology Unit, consisting of 17 private rooms, includes an outpatient transfusion/chemotherapy room along with designated beds for hospice/palliative care. The Ambulatory Surgery/Pre-Surgical Outpatient Center offers post-surgical and post-procedure care to patients requiring blood transfusions, liver biopsies, bone marrow preparation, pain management, and lung biopsies.

Chemotherapy
The HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley Infusion Center, located at the Benedictine Hospital campus, provides a full range of comprehensive chemotherapy and infusion therapy services. Staffed by certified nurses and board certified physicians, the Infusion Center offers infusion therapy services to help patients manage cancer symptoms and the symptoms from cancer treatment.

Blood Transfusion
The HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley Infusion Center, located at the Benedictine Hospital campus, provides services for individuals who need blood transfusions, during which parts of whole blood – including red blood cells, platelets, plasma, or a combination of these – are added to a patient’s blood stream by the insertion of an intravenous line (IV) into the arm.
