Total Joint Rehabilitation
The goal of rehabilitation following a joint replacement is to reduce pain and maximize function. This allows many people to resume activities that they had previously been unable to do because of pain and disability.
According to recent statistics nearly one in five American adults have some form of arthritic pain. As the baby boomer population ages, the incidence of joint replacement is expected to continue to climb. Joint replacement followed by structured rehabilitation can significantly improve quality of life.
