The HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley Podiatric Residency Program, located at theĀ Kingston Hospital campus, is an accredited program emphasizing surgery, along with extensive surgical opportunities, in the area of forefoot and rearfoot.
The three year program offers clinical skills and patient management skills development during the first year. The second and third year focus on surgical skill development. Our curriculum is designed to provide training in all the core competencies, all while providing the resident training in the breadth of podiatric health care. In addition, residents work one-on-one with medical staff throughout training. At the completion of the program, the resident is eligible to sit for the Podiatric Medicine and Podiatric Surgical Board Exams.
Our program currently has 6 positions with two (2) new candidates accepted each year at the PGY1 level:
2 – Post Graduate Year 1 (PGY1)
2 – Post Graduate Year 2 (PGY2)
2 – Post Graduate Year 3 (PGY3)
The Podiatric Residency Program is accredited by The Council on Podiatric Medical Education, the American Osteopathic Association, and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
