Mission
The Kingston Hospital is a non-sectarian, not-for-profit institution whose sole reason for existence is to serve the healthcare needs of all people in our community. We accomplish this through dedicated, competent staff providing accessible patient-focused care, guided by a commitment to continuous improvement.
Vision
To become the provider of choice in our service area by exceeding the expectations of our patients, their families and the purchasers of health care.
- To promote healthy lifestyles and effective disease management for the people of our community by providing educational, preventive, diagnostic therapeutic and rehabilitative services which are both cost-effective and of the highest quality.
- To collaborate with physicians, community agencies, and others to further develop those selected inpatient and outpatient services which best allow Kingston Hospital to achieve its mission.
- To become the provider of choice in our service area by exceeding the expectations of our patients, their families and the purchasers of health care.
- To promote access to state-of-the-art facilities and technology through prudent management of the resources entrusted to us by the community and the effective use of information.
- To act as advocate on behalf of our patients and the community and to assume the roles and responsibilities which ensue from our position as the focal point of our community’s health care system.
