The Margaretville Health Foundation seeks to provide funding for Margaretville Hospital and Mountainside Residential Care Center through a program of Planned Giving and the development of an Endowment Fund. The Foundation’s vision and mission includes the following:

Vision Statement

Our vision for the Margaretville Health Foundation is to establish itself as an ongoing well-endowed financial resource that supports the needs and the mission of the hospital and the nursing home to ensure their longevity and to be responsive to the community that they serve.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to be a strategic and proactive fundraising center that:

  • Communicates the hospital and nursing home goals to further raise awareness of the essential role they play in the community while fostering good will in the area.
  • Reaches out to all segments of the service area to increase the understanding that their philanthropic contribution will enhance the delivery of health care and the quality of life in the community.
  • Implements fundraising campaigns, including capital campaigns that promote enduring ways of giving and methods of recognition for all donors and prospective donors.
