Visitor Information
We welcome the friends and family of Mary’s Ave Campus patients to visit during the general visiting hours which are 11:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m., except in special areas, such as psychiatry and the critical care units, where the length of the visit is limited by the patient’s condition.
To ensure the comfort and safety of our patients, we ask that you adhere to the following:
- Children under 12 years of age are not permitted in patient care areas unless exceptions are made. Please consult the patient’s nurse for these exceptions.
- Visitors are asked to observe the visiting hours listed below.
- No more than two visitors are allowed to visit a patient at one time.
- Relatives may wait in the Ambulatory Surgery waiting room during the day of a patient’s surgery.
- Only immediate family members may visit the patient on the day of surgery.
- Staff may ask visitors to leave the room if treatment of the patient is required.
- We also encourage family members and friends who have recently been exposed to or show signs of mumps, measles, H1N1, chicken pox, the flu, or other contagious illnesses to avoid being in our hospital until they feel better. It is important to protect our patients, many of whom are susceptible to infections. If you feel that your particular situation may warrant special accommodations, please contact the nursing supervisor by calling extension 0 or the infection control coordinator at extension 4346.

The length of visit is limited by patient’s condition.

Smoking Policy
Mary’s Ave Campus is a smoke-free hospital. Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the building. Outside, smokers must be located 25 feet from the building.
