From the North or South
Take the New York State Thruway (Route 87) to Exit #18/New Paltz. Turn left onto Route 299 traveling West and go to next stop light at N. Putt Corners Road.
*Turn right onto N. Putt Corners Road and go approximately 1 mile to Woodland Pond entrance on left. Enter community then turn left at stop sign and park in Lot 1.
From Dutchess County and East
Cross the Mid-Hudson Bridge to Route 9W North to Highland. Turn left onto Route 299 traveling West and go approximately 5.4 miles to N. Putt Corners Road. See above.*
From the West
Follow the best route to Route 44/55 to Route 299 and traveling East to New Paltz. From Wallkill Bridge travel approximately 1.3 miles through Village of New Paltz. Turn left onto N. Putt Corners Road. Follow directions above.*
From Westchester
Take either Route 684 or Taconic Parkway to Route 84. Travel west toward Newburgh. Cross Newburgh/Beacon Bridge and follow signs to New York State Thruway North (Route 87). Follow directions above – From North or South.
