Tulip Ball Raises $180,000 for HealthAlliance
SAUGERTIES, N.Y. – May 15, 2017 -- The HealthAlliance Foundation's 28th annual Tulip Ball raised more than $180,000 to support the acquisition of new technology and equipment, high quality treatment services, and training for hospital staff at HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth).
The April 29 event at the Lazy Swan Golf and Country Club Village in Saugerties drew 350 people who celebrated the achievements of Frank and Beverly Finnegan, Sandra A. Horan, RN, BSN, and the Phoenicia International Festival of the Voice.
The Finnegans were named Tulip Ball Honorees for their involvement in community fundraising, cancer care activism, and not-for-profit leadership. Horan received the Lifetime Achievement Award for her 40 years of guidance and service to HealthAlliance. The Festival of the Voice earned the Community Service Award for its contributions to the arts community and local economy.
"These award recipients have dedicated their lives to the health and well-being of our community," said HealthAlliance Foundation Executive Director Steffen T. Kraehmer. "We are pleased to recognize their contributions to Ulster County and we thank all the individuals and businesses that joined us in applauding their efforts and in supporting HealthAlliance."
