Margaretville Hospital Auxiliary

For more than 45 years, the Margaretville Hospital Auxiliary has promoted and advanced the welfare of Margaretville Hospital through innovative fund-raising events.

Since 1966, the Auxiliary continues to lead the way in raising funds to support many initiatives of the hospital such as purchasing a new four wheel drive ambulance, wheelchairs, state-of-the-art medical equipment, Lifeline Personal Response System units for homebound and the elderly, a state-of-the-art Blood Chemistry Analyzer and a back-up server for medical records. Additionally, the Auxiliary conducts various events and sponsors an array of programs throughout the year such as:

  • The annual Antique Flea Market
  • Easter and Christmas fairs
  • Fashion Show
  • Harvest Moon Ball
  • Thrift Shop
  • Golf Tournament

Resource Programs

The Auxiliary’s Wellness Committee sponsors the Marian Connell Wellness Education Series, offering the community free resources covering various topics centering on nutrition, fitness, breast cancer, diabetes and heart health.

Community Programs

  • ARC’s Living Skills Program, Delaware County Opportunities
  • Support for new mothers in conjunction with Cornell Cooperative Extension
  • Community Service Projects
