Comprehensive Breast Care Services

The Fern Feldman Anolick Center for Breast Health is part of the comprehensive breast care program at HealthAlliance Hospital: Mary’s Avenue Campus. Our integrated practice brings together a multispecialty cancer treatment team of experts to ensure you get the best care available. The experts include breast health specialists, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, surgeons,  pathologists, radiologists and a skilled support staff — all working as a multidisciplinary team to provide whole-person care for women. The center is widely recognized for its medical excellence and integrative approach to cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment. The Center for Breast Health is recognized as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology; as well as Mammography Quality Standards Act / FDA certification. A Breast Patient Navigation Program is available to help guide patients through their treatment options and answer questions.

The Center for Breast Health at HealthAlliance Hospital: Mary’s Avenue Campus offers specialized services in a relaxed, comfortable, patient-centered environment with certified, caring technologists: 

  •  Screening and Diagnostic Mammograms
  •  Breast Ultrasound
  •  Minimally-invasive breast biopsy (Offering both Ultrasound and Stereotactic biopsy)
  •  Needle localization prior to surgery
  •  Bone Density (DEXA)
  •  Breast MRI (performed in Radiology)

Appointments can be made be made during the hours of 7:20 a.m. – 4:40 p.m., Monday – Friday. Please contact the scheduling department to make an appointment at 845.334.3088, press Option 1.

Breast Patient Navigation ensures seamless, coordinated care among your physicians and diagnostic tests while offering education, guidance and support as you and your family cope with the psychosocial and emotional challenges cancer can bring. Our Certified Breast Patient Navigator can be reached at 845.334.8926.

The Department of Radiation Oncology’s Ulster Radiation Oncology Center combines the quality and capability of state-of-the-art equipment with the expertise and compassion of board-certified radiation oncologists. Our specialists design treatments with pinpoint accuracy, ensuring tumors get the most effective dose while minimizing radiation to healthy tissues. Our regular hours are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. For appointments or to speak with one of the physicians call 845.339.7700

The Oncology Support Program seeks to ensure no one faces cancer alone. Our compassionate professionals and volunteers offer support to patients, their families and friends. Experience prevention, wellness and healthy-survivorship programs, including support groups, art and healing programs, tai chi, yoga and qigong. Many activities take place in our homelike Reuner Cancer Support House, 80 Mary’s Avenue. in Kingston.

The Sister Louise Garley Oncology Unit at the Mary’s Avenue Campus provides outpatient and inpatient chemotherapy through referrals from all oncologists. 

HealthAlliance Clinical Nutrition Services provides oncology nutrition counseling to assist patients with setting and reaching goals of proper nutrition before, during and after treatment.  

The Department of Pathology, certified by the American Board of Pathology and staffed by pathologists from Affiliated Pathology Services, provides accurate, timely and cost-effective pathology services to patients and physicians. We maintain the highest levels of quality to ensure the most accurate diagnostic services. The department is open from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, but a pathologist is always available on call.

The Pastoral Care Department seeks to offer a restorative and healing presence through attentive listening, prayer and meditation. Our compassionate caregivers support people of all spiritual paths in their joys as well as their pains, losses and anxieties.
