planning meals The HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley’s Clinical Nutrition Department can help you by making recommendations on how to keep yourself nourished with a well-balanced diet. Maintaining optimal nutrition may help support immune function, decrease your risk of infection, preserve lean body mass and help rebuild body tissue. Ultimately, a well-balanced diet can improve your tolerance to treatment and help you recover faster.

  • Nutritional assessments for patients admitted to the hospital
  • Customized and individualized nutritional education for patients who need a special diet upon discharge from the hospital
  • Seminars and lectures for the general public
  • Nutritional assessments and counseling (fee based services for members of the community suffering from obesity, hypertension, diabetes and heart disease)
