Margaretville Hospital Awarded Accreditation from Globally Renowned Safety Program

Margaretville Hospital Has Been Recognized for Participation and Excellence in Medicare Program

MARGARETVILLE, N.Y. (February 15, 2024) – Margaretville Hospital has been deemed compliant with Medicare Conditions of Participation for Critical Access Hospitals by DNV Healthcare USA, Inc. This recertification is significant for the hospital and the community it serves as it shows Margaretville Hospital meets or exceeds globally established standards for safe, reliable, and high-quality healthcare that satisfies patient needs and lowers healthcare costs.

This recognition is known worldwide as the gold standard for hospitals when it comes to patient and workforce safety and care quality, as well as patient and patient caregiver satisfaction. For more than a decade, Margaretville Hospital has been recognized by this prestigious institution for its excellence.

This accreditation for Medicare compliance is given with the authorization granted to DNV Healthcare USA, Inc. by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
