Comprehensive Gynecologic Care

For many women, their relationship with their gynecologist is a lasting one which often begins with their first annual pelvic exam in late adolescence or early adulthood and continues throughout their child-bearing and menopausal years.

Our specialists strive to be your trusted partner in healthcare by providing personal and customized care that addresses your unique needs during every stage of life. We provide routine annual exams, offer birth control advice and preconception counseling, and see you through each pregnancy from conception to birth and aftercare. We ensure you stay healthy by advising you on and providing regular screenings such as mammograms and colonoscopies as you grow older.

Throughout it all, we access advanced prevention techniques, technology and treatment interventions to ensure you receive comprehensive and up-to-date care.

Gynecologic Surgery

The Westchester Medical Center Health Network offers the most advanced minimally invasive approach to gynecologic surgical care in the region. Many procedures are available in-office at convenient practice locations throughout the area. Physicians are uniquely trained to provide specialty consultation and management of fibroids, chronic pelvic pain, adenomyosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, female sexual dysfunction, benign adnexal pathology, endometriosis, painful bladder syndrome/interstitial cystitis, myofascial pain and cervical dysplasia. Our commitment to you is to perform a multidisciplinary and comprehensive office evaluation and offer you a wide range of treatment options tailored to your specific problem ranging from conservative to medical or surgical management. We can offer you various minimally invasive office-based and surgical approaches tailored to your specific condition. Services include:

  • Minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (hysteroscopy, vaginal, and laparoscopic)

Through the WMCHealth Network women have access to gynecologic reconstructive and plastic surgeons. These specialists restore both function and appearance through laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgical procedures. Reconstructive procedures play a vital role in treating issues such as uterine prolapse, pelvic organ prolapse, fetal incontinence, urinary incontinence, and other conditions.

Maternal Fetal Medicine (Perinatology)

Maternal-fetal medicine specialists provide advanced-level care for expectant mothers with prior medical conditions such as diabetes and heart disease; those who have health problems resulting from pregnancy, such as gestational diabetes or preeclampsia; and healthy mothers carrying multiple fetuses or those who have experienced prior preterm labor or delivery, recurrent miscarriages or premature rupture of the membranes. Maternal-fetal specialists also coordinate any specialized neonatal services a baby may require prior to or shortly after birth, such as heart surgery. Genetic counselors are available to women receiving care in this program. Learn more.
